Some years ago, the NDC disappointed Ghanaians so badly that people voted them out in large numbers. Then the NPP came in, disappointed people too and Ghanaians brought the NDC back. So please, let’s stop behaving as if the NDC was registered at the Electoral Commission two years ago and has no history. You’ve governed before. You’ve made mistakes before. You’ve disappointed people before. Ghanaians have given you another chance. That is not a lifetime achievement award. It is another opportunity to do better. Use it. Govern properly. Fix what you can. Explain what you’re doing. Listen when people complain. Stop acting offended when citizens ask for the very things you promised them. People should not have to beg a government to govern. You asked for the job. We gave it to you. Please clock in. Ghana is 69 years old.

Hon. Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, respectfully, When will Ghana make the bold national decision to become a production and export hub instead of primarily being a market for imported goods? I appreciate efforts to create immediate opportunities for young people, including supporting them with motorbikes for delivery businesses. But, respectfully, we must think beyond short-term survival. Why can’t we make a drastic national shift towards establishing factories and industries that will employ thousands of young Ghanaians while producing goods for Ghana, Africa and the global market? We should be producing motorcycles, spare parts, electronics, agricultural machinery, textiles, pharmaceuticals, processed foods and other products locally—and exporting them. Our young people should not only be delivery riders distributing imported products; they should be engineers, technicians, factory workers, manufacturers and exporters. Hon. Minister, Ghana needs an industrial revolution that moves us from importing and consuming to producing, adding value and exporting. The ultimate measure of our economic transformation should be the number of factories we establish, the number of sustainable jobs we create, and the volume of Made-in-Ghana products we export to the world. We need to think big. Ghana can become Africa’s production hub. #IndustrialiseGhana #MadeInGhana #GhanaExports #24HourEconomy #JobsForTheYouth #GhanaFirst
