Every conservative commentator keeps posting this take as an original revelation when data centers already pitch themselves as a way to provide revenue for schools and local sports. Locals don’t care. Many don’t want don’t care about funding schools in the first place. These same people also don’t want to pay property taxes in spite of schools depending on them.

Y Combinator is a supposed champion of “Little Tech” but perhaps they’re nothing more than a front for the far left. I’m deeply uncomfortable with wealthy investors attacking American workers like this. I’m afraid it’s increasingly obvious to many people that individuals such as this guy do not have the best interests of America and her citizens in mind. The purpose of the American economy is to promote the general welfare of American workers, not provide jobs for the rest of the world.

This is the real "cope." A total loser mindset that absolves those who subscribe to it of any responsibility to engage in the political system given to us by our American Founders. Trump is in the arena, actually doing something. You are not. This person is not. Doom Posters like these are 100x worse than the most over-the-top pro-Trump accounts. I continue to maintain that there is a lane where you support the admin, highlight its victories, stay on the team, and also offer constructive criticism or pushback. It's a hard space to occupy, and most fail. But if you have to pick between this nonsense and just being a full-on "MAGA cheerleader," go with the cheerleading every time.
