.@United is adding 10 new international cities in 2027. Eight that no other U.S. airline serves nonstop from the U.S. The new routes: • San Francisco–Okinawa • Washington Dulles–Toulouse • Newark–Luxembourg • Newark–Ljubljana • Newark–Olbia • Newark–Catania • Newark–Ibiza • Newark–Valencia • Newark–Marseille • Newark–Terceira United is also adding three routes to cities already in its network: • Los Angeles–Osaka • Denver–Paris • Washington Dulles–Milan San Francisco–Tel Aviv will also return in March. https://airlinegeeks.com/2026/08/25/united-adds-10-international-cities-for-2027/

DoT's Sean Duffy confirms the Dulles people movers will be gone. They look "like it's from Star Wars, if you will, and they're slow and people are angry about them." Duffy says Dulles "is dark, it is dated, a little dank maybe." Trump says they're building a "massive nine-story, eight-story, 10-story" parking garage with 32,000 parking spaces right next to the terminal with a glass bridge so travelers don't have to "walk blocks and blocks." It'll be above ground. "People don't like going down underneath." The plan also includes modern check-in areas, more efficient security screenings, hotels, new restaurants and shops, including "one of the largest United Polaris lounges anywhere in the world."

.@Allegiant is adding a new premium product starting next year: Allegiant First. Select aircraft will feature eight Allegiant First seats, which will be open for booking in mid-August and will initially be available on select routes to/from Ft. Myers/Punta Gorda.

📣EFFECTIVE TODAY: Palm Beach International Airport's three-letter location identifier has changed from PBI to DJT following the airport's official renaming to Donald J. Trump International Airport. FAA systems and publications reflect the new identifier. Pilots, air traffic controllers, and aviation stakeholders should use DJT for flight planning and operations.

VC-25B-Bridge Makes Maiden Flight as AIR FORCE 1 US Air Force VC-25B-Bridge #AF83F3 is in the air from JB Andrews as AIR FORCE 1 for the first time. USAF VC-25A #ADFDF9 is serving as SAM47 for this trip, a role that this aircraft hasn't been in for years.
